Our History

Tattaaunawa is an Hausa word that literal means dialogue, discussion, deliberation and to hold talks. To reason or reasoning

At The Tattaaunawa roundtable Initiative (TRICentre), the values we bring to better the society is our ability to listen, learn and share with the aim of bringing solutions. An organization founded with a sense of purpose, and our unique heritage as a people in Nigeria, especially the North of the country.

From humble backgrounds in the early 2000 doing development work, from the media perspective we've been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our communities. Our efforts are the result of PCD's visionary leadership, along with colleagues and long years of built friendships across faith and groups focused on helping communities find long-lasting peace through creative, and innovative means

This rich heritage defines who we are and what we do today. We believe in leadership through service. This belief that true leadership depends on willing service was the principle on which Tattaaunawa was built, and drove the decisions that birthed it.

So when we finally decided to register officially as an entity we were bringing together and collectively human resources near fifty years of practice, in a framework we call 360 Degrees Development.

It is about Voices, Action and Connection in all that we do.

// Experience. Execution. Excellence.
